Surgery for Marquez after finger fracture

Marc Marquez needed surgery today after suffering a fractured little finger in his left hand after a Motocross training accident. The reigning world champion was operated on in Spain by Dr Mir in Barcelona. "He attended the casualty department of the Hospital Universitario Quiron Dexeus having suffered a crash in training this morning," said Mir. "The patient presented a deformity to the little finger of his left hand and a subsequent X-Ray showed a fracture of the proximal phalanx, with displacement.
