Lorenzo pleased to silence doubters

Jorge Lorenzo enjoyed the sweet taste of success of claiming pole position for Sunday's Spanish Grand Prix. The Movistar Yamaha rider has come in for heavy criticism this season after beginning the campaign with a string of indifferent performances. Lorenzo currently sits in fourth spot in the championship standings, having registered a pair of fourth-place finishes and fifth position last time out in Argentina.
