The Yamaha rider began the season in indifferent fashion, failing to get on the podium in the opening three races before bouncing back to claim victory in Sunday's Spanish Grand Prix at Jerez. Lorenzo has come in for some criticism for seemingly always having an excuse for a poor performance, and the Spaniard concedes that sometimes he falls short in the mental game.
