MotoGP Qatar: ‘Stupid mistake’ costs Crutchlow

Britain’s Cal Crutchlow has admitted today’s crash in MotoGP qualifying two was a stupid mistake but he walked away from the spill with only his pride bruised. The LCR Honda man went down at turn 14 after setting the second-quickest time in free practice three and was looking down the barrel of at least a second-row start for his debut Hond RC213V race. “Thankfully it’s just my pride that is hurt today, but obviously I’m not happy. I made a stupid mistake. The positive is that we were very fast and we had a great chance to get on the front row and my ideal time would have put us there. But hey, that’s racing. The other guys did a better qualifying and we were 12th,” he said....
