Marquez back on top in second Austin practice session

Honda's Marc Marquez set the fastest time for the second MotoGP practice session as track conditions improved at the Circuit of the Americas. Defending champion Marquez stamped his authority on the session, as better conditions started to prevail in the afternoon following a rain-affected morning session, the factory Honda rider leading the way ahead of LCR Honda’s Cal Crutchlow and Ducati rider Andrea Iannone. Times started to fall moving into the second half of the session, and it was Marquez who capitalized on the improving conditions to eventually set a best time of 2m04.835s, with Crutchlow 0.327s behind and Iannone a further 0.028 back.
