MotoGP Jerez: Marquez expects ‘painful’ weekend

Reigning MotoGP World Champion Marc Marquez is expecting a painful weekend at the Jerez MotoGP round as he has to contend with his recently-broken hand which he thinks could hamper him in Spain. The Repsol Honda man fractured his little finger in a dirt-track crash and had it plated last Saturday night. He will have it assessed and the bandages replaced after every session, starting tomorrow morning. “It was a very small crash and one friend passed over my hand. I was very lucky because it could be more. Already we are lucky that we can be here and tomorrow I will try on the bike how is the hand,” said Marquez, speaking at Jerez. “We will see.
