Redding positive over new chassis upgrade
Britain's Scott Redding has given the updated Honda chassis the thumbs-up after receiving the upgrade for Jerez, but the Estrella Galicia 0,0 Marc VDS rider was struggling to find the extra pace needed to climb the times on Friday. Redding ended the first day of free practice in 12th place on the combined times with a lap in 1m 39.967s leaving him 0.793s down on Movistar Yamaha's Jorge Lorenzo. The 22-year-old, who set his best time in FP1, said: “My feeling with the bike is quite good, but we're struggling to find the time we need to progress up the timesheet and we don't really know why at the moment. “The bike is working well under braking and on corner entry, but it feels like we...
