Hernandez confident of top-ten challenge

Yonny Hernandez put the disappointment of non-finishes in Austin and Argentina behind him to qualify ninth fastest in MotoGP qualifying at Jerez. Along with team-mate Danilo Petrucci, the Columbian moved into Q2 courtesy of a top-two time in Q1 and claimed a third row starting slot with a time 1.5 seconds slower than Jorge Lorenzo. Speaking after qualifying Hernandez said, “I'm happy because a few races ago we had problems. Like Austin. Like Argentina. The qualifying was really good. We do some really good work.
