Pedrosa boosted by suspension advances

Repsol Honda's Dani Pedrosa was in buoyant mood at the conclusion of the second day of the Sepang MotoGP test after making some strong advances with the suspension set-up of his RC213V. Pedrosa evaluated a number of configurations as he continued to work on suspension settings, gaining data that helped improve the balance of the bike and feedback from the tyres. He set his best lap in 2m 00.275s to finish fifth fastest on the time sheets, 0.431s adrift of team-mate Marc Marquez. “We finally found something better and we have more feeling with the balance of the bike, with the tyres and also for consistency,” he said. “This is important and it's good to get to that point today.
