MotoGP to return to Indonesia?

Indonesia may return to the MotoGP calendar from 2017 after talks between commercial rights holder Dorna Sports, the Indonesian Government and the Sentul Circuit were held in Jakarta. The last MotoGP event in Indonesia took place at Sentul in 1997, and subsequent attempts to bring the sport back to the country have failed. Dorna Sports CEO Carmelo Ezpeleta has confirmed that Indonesia will be included on the MotoGP calendar from 2017 to 2021 if the meet all the necessary infrastructure requirements.
