Bradl: We can close gap to top Open
Forward Yamaha's Stefan Bradl says he made good progress at Le Mans in France despite being forced to retire from the race. The German rider, who has claimed only one MotoGP World Championship point this season, registered a DNF in France but remains optimistic he can close the gap to the leading Open class riders this weekend at the sixth round of the MotoGP World Championship at Mugello in Italy. “After all the good work done during the test in Jerez I was prepared to do well in the race at Le Mans, but I was forced to retire – too bad,” Bradl said. “We made a good step forward in France and we are approaching Mugello believing we can close the gap with the fastest Open.” Bradl...
