Vinales 'improving day by day'

Suzuki's Maverick Vinales spent the final day of the second Sepang MotoGP test working on setting consistent lap times on the GSX-RR. The series rookie suffered a minor spill on Tuesday and was loathe to push hard for a single fast lap time on the last day of the shakedown, preferring instead to focus on his overall pace. Vinales was 14th fastest ahead of Stefan Bradl on the Forward Yamaha, setting his best time in 2m 00.604s as he finished almost one and a half seconds down on pacesetter Marc Marquez on the combined times. “I leave Sepang with a very good feeling and satisfaction and we did a very good job without any major issues,” said Vinales. “I managed to improve my times a...
