Lowes hopeful of a new chassis for Sachsenring

Sam Lowes is hoping a new chassis can bridge the gap to current Moto2 front-runners Johann Zarco and Tito Rabat after putting in a fighting podium finish at Assen. Slightly frustrated by a run of three consecutive fourth places in France, Italy and Spain, Lowes was inside the top three throughout the Dutch TT weekend and after the race said his Speed Up team are working to have a new chassis ready for the next round. “The good thing about being on the Speed Up is that we can improve more,” said Lowes. “The team are working for a new chassis.
