Laverty ready to strike at Open goal

Boosted by a recent swingarm upgrade, Aspar MotoGP rookie Eugene Laverty feels his goal of winning the Open class is now firmly within reach. Laverty's triple run of point-scoring finishes came to an abrupt end with an accident at Assen and he'd like nothing better than to go into the summer break on the back of a strong result. “Sachsenring is the final round before the summer break and so a good result is important before the time off.
