Moto3: Wet pace boosts Mahindra riders

Outside the top eight during the only dry day at the official Valencia Moto3 test, Aspar Mahindra riders went on to fill three of the top four positions on the wet final day. Quickest of the trio was Jorge Martín, who led the Thursday timesheets by almost 1.5s! The Spaniard had been tenth fastest, 0.762s behind fellow rookie Fabio Quartararo, in the dry on Tuesday. “Today was a pretty productive day and we got a lot of work done,” Martin said. “You could say that we found a perfect setting for the wet in the final session and we are very happy with the result.
