Drive M7 departs Aspar
Drive M7 has ceased its title sponsorship of the Aspar team - just hours before the start of the 2015 MotoGP season. That is despite Aspar stating that they have a contract with the Malaysian energy drink company until the end of this year. More details are due to be given by team principal Jorge Martinez 'Aspar' when he meets the press at the Losail circuit in a few hours. Former world champion Nicky Hayden and rookie Eugene Laverty will race Open class Honda machinery for Aspar this season. The Aspar sponsorship news follows on from speculation over the future of LCR Honda's new title sponsor CWM. Opening practice for the Qatar MotoGP takes place this evening.
