Bradl a doubt for Sachsenring after surgery

Stefan Bradl may miss his home MotoGP race at the Sachsenring after undergoing surgery following a crash in last weekend's Dutch TT. The German, who rides an Open class Yamaha for the Forward Racing team, fractured his right scaphoid when he crashed out of the race early on at Assen while running in 15th place. He underwent successful surgery on Monday in his hometown of Augsburg, and was discharged from hospital the same evening. However, it is unknown whether Bradl will be fit enough to race in his home Grand Prix, which takes place on July 12, with a decision expected to be made this week after further tests.
