Lorenzo surprised by size of improvement

MotoGP title leader Jorge Lorenzo continued the momentum from his Brno victory by edging out Marc Marquez for Friday practice honours at Silverstone. Lorenzo has battled Marquez for victory at the British MotoGP for the past two seasons - claiming his third Silverstone win in 2013, but losing out to the Honda rider by 0.7s last year. The pair were again one step ahead of the rest on Friday, when Lorenzo was just 0.033s quicker than his fellow Spaniard.
